We had a fantastic time exploring the nearby national trails, which offered beautiful sights and educational moments. The kids especially loved the easy access to the beach, where they could dig in the sand. Our RV spot was fantastic and offered lovely views!
My children wished for more play areas. an on-site playground would be great.

I had a lovely stay at this charming motel where I enjoyed the calming nautical-themed room that was very clean, and I appreciated being just a few steps from great dining options like Garibaldi Portside Bistro and Fisherman's Korner for delicious fresh seafood.

Very clean and comfortable room with lovely views of the bay right outside. The marine-style decoration added a cozy touch. Free parking directly at the door was convenient. However, the room felt a bit small with limited space for luggage, and it would have been nicer to have more amenities. Although the area was quirkily charming, the older building did have some signs of wear. The overall experience was pleasant for a short stay.
